We all need a bit of perspective in our lives, and I've decided to start making a note of one thing I'm grateful for each morning in my planner.
With my current planner, I have tons of space to add in stickers and other goodies, but I want to make sure I'm taking the time to do the things that really matter. Bills, meetings, and online classes only take up so much space. It's no stretch to write down one thing I'm grateful for each day. Yesterday I was grateful there was enough money in my bank account to buy fireworks and decorations for a fun 4th of July get together with family. It might seem bad to some people to be grateful for money, but my guess is, those people have a lot of it. |
Below is a video of something similar to what I'm working into my morning routine. But honestly, gratitude is kind of like a boulder rolling down a hill. It's a bitch to get the thing moving, but once you do, it's hard to stop.
Do you practice gratitude? Do you use meditation? Or do you journal in something like the book at the top of the post? And is this part of your morning or night time routine?
I'd love to hear how you practice gratitude, or even just what you're grateful for today. Tell me below or tweet it out to me @RoxyMews.
